Volunteers are the backbone of Spirit Ridge.
With our wonderful people who volunteer now we could not offer our programs. With thier time and dedication, they gain a satisfaction and peace by helping others who can not help themselves. To see the smiles and hear the laughter of our riders while they explore a part of our world from horseback and working with the horses and a joy they really need each week. The volunteers describe thier experience at Sprit Ridge as therapeutic, giving them a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction! Also, it is a wonderful way to lose weight and get in shape without paying a gym fee.

Our opportunities available are; horse leaders, sidewalkers, volunteer coordinatoer, marketing, fund raising and grant writing. As you can see, you do not need horse experience to part of our wonderful organization and help our community get better.
We have a volunteer training class normally once a month, on the last Saturday of the month. Please check our calendar for dates and times and call 870-919-8141 to register.
